Yuino is a meeting between the 2(two) families before their children get married.
The groom's family gives presents to the bride's family as a symbol of the union/promiss.
In the past, the dowry often included seaweed and dried abalone and also money to buy necessities for the new couple.
Recently the yuino is just a simple dinner with both families.
